Luna’s Sol - by Artist Stephanie Paige

    8 February 2018 – 1 March 2018 | Thursday, February 8th, 2018

The reflective truth that Luna represents from the Sol’s embodied energey’s is where I will find my true self and my true balance. Sun and Moon incorporates the complimenting and contrasting use of color to create a dramatic, “One unified by two halves.” Like the sun and the moon, light and darkness, male and female. A balanced contradiction. It’s not seeking the truth, it’s knowing the truth within my soul. Becoming awake to my truth, I let my light and refection vibrate out into this world.

“Three things that can not be hidden long is the Moon, The Sun and the Truth.”
    Buddha

Stephanie’s works of art are always filled with peace and tranqility and her new series, Luna’s Sol is filled with rich colors and cool tones giving the work a dramatic effect on our sences. Paige works with mixed media including marble plasters that is sanded, burnished, and polished on both canvas and wood panals. This series has a mystical flow that takes you away, yet connects you to yourself.

The Gravity Between Us - by Artist Jennyfer Stratman

    8 March 2018 – 5 April 2018 | Thursday, March 8th, 2018

I am continually inspired and fascinated by observing patterns and connections between humanity, nature and the cosmos. These connections appear equally evident to me whether I am walking through the forest or welding two pieces of metal together. The unifying principles of birth, transformation and decay are ever present in everything we observe. While I do not have the ability to explain the complexities of these processes as a scientist would, I feel an intuitive understanding which drives my creative process.

For this exhibition I experimented at the foundry using splashed molten bronze. The random forms born from this process are reminiscent of newly created matter cooled and combined under the force of gravity to form the stars and planets. The botanical and figurative elements link to the spiritual and emotional narrative in my work.
